I got an old computer from a press which needs a new programmable battery since it gives an error message about CMOS. I need to replace the old one but must also transfer its program.
IC: ST M48T86
Can this be done with GQ-4x?

You are lucky no critical data like calibrations was lost with the dead battery.
if that was the case we would need a donor board to read the chip that was still operational. but how would we do that? I think we did not clarify this part :) |

thank you, I will look into this further. |
