Hello,
I am trying to write to PIC12F629. I have three brand new chips. They ID check OK and blank check OK, but they all fail to verify the configuration.

It seems the hex file configuration is not right. It is trying to change the reserved CFG bit.
From this chip datasheet, the Band Gap Calibration bits must be read and preserved.
So, do not use the CFG from your hex file. |
