Hi!
Recently I got problem: original GQ-4X can read and verify 28f400 w/o problems, but when I try to erase the flash, it comes to 100% and the software hangs up with programmer's all 3 LEDs ON. Software update to the newest and computer change did not help.
Any ideas?

The problem was faulty ZIF socket :( |

Those chips are locked? In that case the check may not be able to erase. |

The damaged chip may not be visible. |

My first ideee was also the same. Tried many, result was the same.
Adapter is the same as before. Checked it visually - no damage. |

The chip may be a bad chip.
Try another chip if possible. |
