Hi!

Recently I got problem: original GQ-4X can read and verify 28f400 w/o problems, but when I try to erase the flash, it comes to 100% and the software hangs up with programmer's all 3 LEDs ON. Software update to the newest and computer change did not help.

Any ideas?

Those chips are locked? In that case the check may not be able to erase.

My first ideee was also the same. Tried many, result was the same.
Adapter is the same as before. Checked it visually - no damage.

The chip may be a bad chip.

Try another chip if possible.
