Hello out there!

I find myself in the pickle of trying to get new custom patterns loaded onto a Juki LK-1904AH electronic tacker (sewing machine).

I have Juki's PM-1 software that will export the correct file format for the LK series machines but the problem is that it will only accept an 27C256 Eprom chip, which I have absolutely zero experience with. It does helpfully note that EEPROM cannot be used.

I'm looking for advice as to what sort of hardware I'd need to write onto the correct chip, or advice on how to acquire the correct chips and hardware. I'm a bit lost here so anything would help.

Cheers!

Thanks so much for the reply! Do you think it would be a good idea to also purchase the eprom eraser or are these specific chips one time use only?

You can probably reuse your original chip(s).
