hi...

i just bought an enhanced willem programmer but i'm having trouble to get it to say "hardware present" when i hook up all of the cables...

i've done a couple of tests. could someone tell me if the cable could be at fault?

there seems to be continuity in the printer cable between some of the pins on the smaller row 14-25...i think pins 18-25 specifically have full continuity between each other. is this normal? i thought it should be only pin 21-21, pin 22-22, pin23-23, and so on...

or am i wrong?

my willem bruises easily.

Pin 18-25 are the GND pins, so they are connected together.

From pin 1 to pin 17 should be pin to pin maping.

However, only folloowing pins are been used by the programmer:

pin 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10,11, 14, 16, 17,18. total 15 pins.

Make sure the above pins are pin to pin linked from one connecter to another.
