As we know HONDA MCU EPROM chip AT29C256 can be drop-in repaced by W27E257.

Some other chip may need to set the offset when program the chip, such as SST27SF512, need set the offset to 8000H.

As we are all now discovering SST27SF512 chips are also no longer being manufactured.

and as many I am seeking a 28 pin replacement.

I welcome any feedback or suggestions on this matter.
