Hoping you can help me. Can the TOP2048 program a "NEC D2716D"?
The TOP2048 can read the chip but not program it. I'm using the latest TOPWINEN software and have used the following options "NEC/D2716 25V" and "???/2716 25V"
When I click detect I get ff,ff.
When I click program, the "OK" message flashes immediately in the window but it has not programmed at all ?!?
Some background.... - I'm using the latest TOPWINEN software. - So far I've managed to program the following: 27C128 27C256 2532 (using modified dummy socket with a setting of 2732A)
Had to do two things 1) Download / install TOPWINEN version 1.39 (Download the top2048 zip file from this site) 2) Set "Test Current" off. This is found under menu option SETING - OTHER.
Annoyingly for this 2716 eprom, I can't use the latest version and you have to set "Test Current" off each time you execute TOPWINEN.
TOP2048 doesn't program eprom 2716
