i have problem with read write all TSOP48 flash devices topwin6 always up pin contact window pin contact error check the spanner my tsop adapter model WL-TSOP48-U1 type dip48 to tsop48 pin 1:1 i have tested that tsop48 flash devices Spansion S29al016, SST 39VF160, MX 29lv160abtc, AMIC A29L160, ST m29W160ET,st39vf800 this flash devices have warning 3 pin no contact in spanner pin#10 and pin#13 and pin#14 in datasheet this pin are a not connected other flash device intel te28f160c3td70 have 2 pin no contact in spanner pin#9 and pin#10 that is in datasheet pin#WE pin#RP and ST M50FW080 programmer say no any flash chip placed i have no problem with read all pic serial eeprom 25xx eprom 24x 93x and flash plcc 32pin read and write wery well now
i test that device what i do to fix it plees help me meybe adapter is wrong top3000 not support 1:1 tsop adapter what is type of adapter can i buy this programmer top3000 is new one i no see any help for this and top site have only phone number no any info for adapter type or forum or tech support email adress to get any help thank you for interest my problem i wait your help best regards

Hi. I am glad that I found this forum. I have been pulling my hair out. I bought a top3100 programmer, I need to program 48 pin tsop devices. I have finally come to the conclusion that either my adapter is not pinned out for what the programmer is expecting, or the top software does not work as claimed. I have checked my adapter, it is pinned out so that pins 1 through 48 on the tsop, corrospond to 1 through 48 on the adapter dip socket. I am pretty sure that is correct. After finding this post, I am now pretty sure that the top software is the problem. I have tried various 48 pin tsop devices, and the programmer tells me I have pin contact issues on every one. Always the same pins error, for the same device types too. For example, for the atmel am29f400bt, pins 9, 10, 13, 14, and 16 always fail, and with multiple chips, so I do not believe that I have contact issues.
I am not too happy that chip support is claimed, where it does not seem to be actually provided. I would hesitate to purchase another top programmer. I registered to add this comment, as if everybody feeds back their top experience, maby they will get their act together and actually provide the chip support that they claim already exists.

| Just d/l and installed the latest topwin, 6.34E. Still no support for 48 pin tsop devices, even though support is claimed. |
