SST 39SF040 Bios Chips and the Willem Pro 4. I am a novice just starting to hopefully learn how to erase, copy and reprogram computer bios chips. In particular I want to know if I can find a user manual for my new Willem Pro 4 eprom burner and how to work with SST 39SF040 Bios Chips for my Sony VAIO FRV series laptops of which I have several. The brief photocopied user manual that came with my Pro 4 I find completely useless for me as a novice with limited electronics ability. The CD is equally confusing as it does not tie up very well with the brief user manual. Can anyone please tell me of a complete and easily understood guide that I can use with the Pro 4? Does the USB power cable supply sufficient power for the unit to perform all its functions? Thanks to anyone who can help??!! Please!
