Starting today the willem.org website has been taken down.

Note that I have no relation to Willem Kloosterhuis other than being one of the many customers who did not receive a product after paying in front.

The message displayed at willem.org now is in dutch, the translation is

This website is not available anymore. As far as we know the owner is not well and that may be the reason why no more products are being send out. The owner is a long time customer with a good track record. We therefore assume this is the truth but other circumstances are possible.

What happened with us to paid for W-Usb 1.5? The shop is open and accept money.

Consider the money lost. No replies to email, phone is not answered, letters sent via snail mail get no answer. Contacting the police is useless, they laugh at you. What a world we live in ...

The next step is contacting the hosting company to report the fraud taking place here and have www.willem.org taken down.
I have done this today.

It may be possible really Willem is not well. I seen some messages from him saying about a arm disease. At Willem's age, a Diabetes can be catastrophical.

The trouble is the knowledge left away in willem forums. This is the true loss.

Fortunatelly, Ezo has RESTORED the forum in read-only mode for searches.

Willem has refunded me today the money I paid for a programmer I ordered in april 2009 but never received. I got in contact with him several weeks ago by sending him a letter (postal address can be found with whois for willem.org).

So Willem has recovered form his problems and is solving the isssues when contacted. I know more people ordered, paid but never received goods, so this may help them.

Greetings,

Hans

I'm happy by Willem recovering from his problems. I hope someday willem.org can be back. It was very important for my own knowledge and learning! willem.org made history.

Looks like the site is still down as of today. Hope Willem recovers and may he have good health. It is after all due to his efforts that we have a very good open source programmer. I've bought the GQ-4X, but if this didn't exist then i'd buy the willem programmer.
