I've just purchased the PIC Programmer and I just can not get it to program 18F2550 chips. The COM port of the XP computer matches the COM port selected on the Programmer's software. Chip select is 18F2550. Loaded 2550 compatible hex code. When clicking the program icon, the small bar graph moves from left to right indicating that the software is placing the code on the chip. But when I install the chip on a know good PCB, there is NO code on the chip at all. Am I missing something? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Steve
