 29F1615 same as 27c160?		  Forum Locked

On a board that I have a 29f1615 is used in a place where a 27c160 would be used.

Are these the same chip (minus being flash versus eprom)?

they are read compatible only chip. 27C160 can be used for replacement of 29f1615. However, they are programmed in different ways.
