Hey there!! I'm new here and this is my first message, so hello everyone ;)
First of all as the title suggests, I have a problem setting up a MX29L3211 to program it. As far as I know, it is a memory that requires a 3V supply voltage and that's how I set the jumper on the adapter but instead, the programmer's software tells me to set it to 5V. Hmmm..... is it saying truth or not?? Will it fry the chip if it's a lie?? Here's what I get when starting the program: Image Insert:

Also, here's the photo of my set up adapter board: Image Insert:

According to the programmer's log, should I set the J3 jumper to 5V?? By the way, have I inserted the chip into the adapter correctly?? Is the orientation correct?? Any kind of help & suggestions would be very appreciated!! Big thanks in advance!!
