Hi, I'm new here on the board, so I don't know if this has been mentioned here before (but can't find any mention via the search function). Anyway, here goes:
A while back I made a little piece of proof-of-concept software for the Top2005+ programmer called u2pa. There a blogpost about it here: www.elgensrepairs.blogspot.dk/2012/05/extending-usage-of-top2005-universal.html and the sourcecode can be found here (you can then compile it yourself) code.google.com/p/u2pa/.
Initially, I just wanted to see, if it was possible to program a 16bit EPROM (271024) with the Top2005+, and I succeeded };-P
Now I have a better programmer (Needhams EMP-21), but still uses the Top2005+ for testing TTLs, SRAM and for reading odd ICs like bipolar PROMs etc. (using u2pa).
Just a little heads up, hope it can be of use to someone };-P
PS: As external links (that are not www) is not allowed (for some odd reason), you'll have to copy/paste them into a new browser window... |
