Please check all DIP setting are correctly set and also use a multimeter to confirm those DIP bit switch are contact well when it is on.

What the brand of your 2732A EPROM? Sicne those EPROMs may have specific condition to program. So, always use the exact match device type to program it. Include the brand name.
Also, try both with and without external power adapter see if it makes any difference. This will give some clue for the failer.
O.k, Tried all GQ-2 listed manufactures for the 2732 chips, all diffrent voltages 12 21 ect. ,with external power and without, known good bin file. I even read a chip ,saved file, ereased chip and would not write same file back to chip. message when verify: (Device verify failed at address: 0x000000, device read 0xff, buffer is 0xa0)

What exact part number you are programming?
Make sure your EPROM is a good one. From my experience there are lot of old EPROMs are damaged(no longer can be programmed) but user do not know. |
