I was programming 39vf1601 and 39vf3201 without a problem using the setup in your site. Now I was trying to program a M29w320DT but I'm getting errors…If there a special setup for this device? Like for the 39vfs that need a jumper….I use the 8/16 bit adapter for this one. If there a setup to make this adapter 8 bit or is automatic?… |

The 8/16 bit adapter should work for M29w320DT.
Most likely the contacting problem.
Please check followings:
1. set the jumper to 29FXX and Vcc to 5V position, connect the address cable.
2. Read ID and the chip ID should be read correctly. If not check chip pin if contacting good in ZIF socket.
3.If this does not work, remove and reinstall the ZIF on the base board, this will help to reduce the contacting issue between the base board and ZIF board.
4.make sure the orientation are correct on both ZIF board and chip in ZIF. |
