Posted - 03/02/2008 : 10:28:44 You know this true usb programmer i ordered is more problem then it is worth i wish i never ordered it now.! i think it may be faulty??
Anyway i am having problem writing back to a MX29LV160B chip it fails at 25% i can blank the chip and erase FINE just fails on write each time!.

I've connected my Willem Programmer as follows...!

As you can see A19 and A20 are connected jumper is set to 5V i.e it's closed. so why the hell wont it write i've tried diffrent 29lv160 settings like atmel and generic etc no success always fails 25 percent no matter what dump i write to the chip with i have searched the forums tried all the things suggested but i am getting really frustrated as i havn't been able to write to any chips since i ordered this TRUE USB PROGRAMMER! |

Posted - 03/02/2008 : 15:44:04 Hi ezosat thats correct and if you look in picture A19 and A20 are connected the right pin on 8bit adaptor is A23 working backwards i have inserted the cables into the right place. |
