Hi,
I try to program a Macronix 29LV800CBTC with my GQ-3X (latest firmware rev), but the device is not listed under Macronix manufacturer. I try to program it using the generic 29lv800 but the programming fails. Can anyone knows if the GQ-3X support this device and how can it be programmed.

Try to use AM29LV800B. They are fully compatible.

Also, read the ID, the software should return C25B. If not, check the chip pin contact and orientation.

The adapter should be TSOP48 8Bit, with VCC to 5V position and chip select at 29F position.

Post your exact error you got.

By the way, did you get work on M29w320DT?
