Good Evening All,

I recently purchased a GQ4x4 to use with a TSOP48 M28W160CB chip. I saw the supported list included the M28W160CT in it which is the same thing but with the parameter block at the top of memory.

I have been using the Intel TE28F160C3B device in the software as this should be the same as the M28W160CB.

Whenever I try to erase the chip it gets to roughly 22% and then stops and says Erase Failed, either device does not support the operation or does not need to be erased.

At this point the software completely freezes and the GQ4x4 freezes with the VCC light on. I have to close and reopen the software and disconnect and reconnect the programmer to do anything further.

When I blank check after that. All the original data is still on the chip.

I can't even write over the data.

Please can someone help me!
