Posted - 01/02/2009 : 22:52:56 Found some thing wrong with the device line. It should use 16 Bit adapter. Not 8/16 bit adapter.
Not fully supported this chip. The software need to be updated to get correct ID. The adapter base board needs some changes in order to support this chip.
The chip should be removed from the supported list for now.
Try to change the device line to: Name="At49BV320",ID="1FC8",Class="SST39VF1601",Category="FLASH",MFG="SST",Speed="5",CodeSize="4194304",Adapter="TSOP48 16 BIT Mode",Message="Set the adapter jumpers to VCC 3.6V and 28FX00 position.";
The ID is not fully work. It will read 3 bytes instead of 2 bytes. Aalso, this works on first half of size due to the A20. A20 should connect to pin 10 but it connected to pin 9 in this case.
