Posted - 01/21/2009 : 03:35:32 Hi i have been trying to burn some m27c160 chips with this adapter h**p://www.mcumall.com/comersus/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=4290
i sucefully managed to burn m27c322 without problems, but every m27c160 i burn gives me this error :
i got 10 eproms, so the problem is not at the eprom, im using GQUSBPrgRe3.03.zip to program the eproms, but i also tried GQUSBPrgRe3.02.zip. I tried to program with and without external power supply (tried two different ones; 12v 800ma; 12v 2a) and same result. this is the programmer im using : h**p://www.mcumall.com/comersus/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=4219 Also notice that after 30 tries or so, i managed to burn 2 or 3 eproms, but on those eproms, the sector 0x008A82 is allways 00 (yes, its the same sector the error gives on programming Could someone try to fix this problem please ? |

Posted - 01/21/2009 : 22:17:03 Tested on my 27C160 with no error and verified. Always use software to verify the chip. After write, the addres 008A82 data is 09, same as buffer.
Maybe the problem is chip compatibility. If this is the case we need a testing chip to fix it. |

Posted - 01/21/2009 : 12:28:07 hi i just have sent you an email with the file. If you dont get an error, just dump the contents of the eproms and check if there is something that is not 00 at this sector ... |

Posted - 01/21/2009 : 11:05:28 Are the errors always at exact same address?
Can you send me your data file? So that I can test it here.
I tested on my GQ-3X with my data but did not find problem. |
