hey guys
I'm trying to reprogram this chip, but can only get as far as 6%

using
GQ-3x
tsop 32 adapter
jumper closed- if i leave it open, the chip id is wrong
chip id is correct
i can get a good read from chip
i cannot get it to unprotect.
erase will fail, and i tried connecting external 9V power source.

i have cleaned the chip, and tried many attempts at moving chip in adapter to get it to seat better. all the pins seem to line up fine

thanks for any help

So, the chip can not be erased. No write too.
The chip need to find a way to unlock it first.

when i try to unprotect it, it shows all sectors are protected, and it will not erase the chip

How do you know your chip is protected?
