I'm kind of new to this

I have GQ-3X and trying to program CSI 93C56SI 0502E
I've connected them all together, but it doesn't read anything
I've tried all the listed devices uder 93C56
I'm not sure what I did wrong
Any advise would help greatly
Thanks...

Yea... I've powere the circuit board and remove the 6,7,8 wires..
I'll try the shorter wire later...

Did you power up your chip and only connect the Pin 1,2,3,4,5 ?

It seems there are noises, try to use shorter wires.

Everytime I read it, it show up different codes...
Am i doing it wrong??
Is there some type of guide where I can refer to for beginner??

Also when remove the clip from the ship, some code still shows up..
ZLM Posted - 03/20/2009 : 08:27:50
yes. Similar device type will work on this chip.
Seanyiya Posted - 03/19/2009 : 23:42:40
Does it matter which device I choose??
I don't see exact one, but similar matching ones..
ZLM Posted - 03/19/2009 : 20:32:12
OK, I can see all three pictures.

But normally this kind of connection will not work. Unless you desolder the chip off the PCB.

Try to power your PCB board and do not connect chip pin 6,7,8

I'm new to it, so it will be better just post the picture to show how I connected...
I'll try to post it later today...
Thanks..

How do you "connected them all together"?

Your chip is on ZIF socket or ISP programming?

The chip only can be read correctly when all pins are connected correctly.
