Posted - 03/17/2009 : 09:29:08 this isnt in the device list, but with the tsop 40b adapter, it seems to detect it properly.
i get back device ID of 20F1, which according to the data sheet is correct : h**p://www.datasheetcatalog.org/datasheet/stmicroelectronics/6480.pdf (first page)
any help on adding this to devices.txt?
would this be right?
Name="M29F080A",ID="20F1",Class="29F040B",Category="FLASH",MFG="ST",CodeSize="1048576",DIP="100011110101",Adapter="TSOP40B-D IP32";
and if so, then could it be added to next version?

Posted - 03/17/2009 : 13:21:34 The adapter is correct. This chip should work with your config line. It needs the A19 address line. So, you can change the device config line to:
Name="M29F080A",ID="20F1",Class="29F040B",Category="FLASH",MFG="ST",CodeSize="1048576",DIP="100011110101",Adapter="TSOP40B-D IP32",Message="Connect A19 from programmer to adapter.";
Let me know if this works. So that we can add this chip into the next software release.
When testing, please test the ID, Erase, Blanck check, Write and Verify. |
