reads ok but just writes a bunch of ff's and a few random characters. tried 2 different adapters, same problem. also tried each 93c86 eeprom listed in software. none write ok. having to use para willem to write chip.

solution?

edit: used -2 speed and device programmed ok.

thanks for the reply. device has been programming ok each time at 0 speed and by selecting at93c86 device. cheers.

It seems the chip is sensitive to the speed.

Use "-2" speed then if it works on this speed.
