Posted - 06/04/2009 : 10:29:13 I see you've released a new version that supports many of the 18-series PICs... good deal. It says that it requires 1.30 or later f/w while our relatively new GQ-4X is v1.20. Where can we get the file to update it?
Also, have you had a chance to address the page-write issue with the I2C EEPROMS yet (i.e. 24xx512) in this version?
Many thanks for the continued support.

Posted - 06/07/2009 : 17:27:49 GQ-4X does not need to send back for the firmware upgrade. The firmware upgrade utility will be available. The new firmwar only needed for PIC 18FXXXX MCU programming. All other chips has no changes on new firmware. |

Posted - 06/07/2009 : 11:05:07 I also have a new GQ-4X 2 weeks but it seems I also have the previous 1.20 , would be a pity to send back a new unit for a firmware upgrade with all the costs that come with it.

Posted - 06/06/2009 : 21:28:45 18 series PICs need firmware 1.30 or later on GQ-4X. The upgrade utility may be available in 2-3 weeks. |

Posted - 06/06/2009 : 08:22:44 Ok, that explains it then. Do you have an approximate ETA on when the firmware utility will be available?
Do we need v1.30 to program the 18 series PICs? What can't we do with 1.20 that we can do with 1.30?
Thanks!
