when i check ID i get following

Devision ID 110
Manuf : Microchip
Type: Unknown device
Revision 5

what could be wrong?

Programmer works fine
with other pics.

I Installed the 4.02 software and the PIC is recognised
fine now Thanks, will do more testing later.

yes. You need to uninstall the 4.01 from control pannel.

Please use latest software Re.4.02 or later.
