I would like to program some PIC 18FXXX chips and I read about the supported chip list. There are these PICs but these are supported by only rev1.3 or newer.

PIC18F4423*ICSP ICSP/PIC adapter+ GQ-4X (>RE1.30)

I have a GQ-4X rev 1.10. Can I update the firmware and/or hardware ?
