Posted - 08/18/2009 : 15:56:51 recently when i start programming these chips, the writing box comes up, but i get no percentage and no error, it just hangs there.
if i move jumper down to 3.3v i get an error.
any ideas? dont think is the adapter as ive tried ST chips i have. |

Posted - 09/10/2009 : 23:05:59 If that is the case, then the chip may have programming compatibility issue I think. They have different production batch. IF you have more chips, you can send a sample chip to support@mcumall.com for fine tuning the algorithm. |

Posted - 09/10/2009 : 17:55:11 yes the MX29LV160CB works on 16bit but not on 8/16.
however it used to and i always used the 8/16 in the past... |

Posted - 09/10/2009 : 17:00:18 Do you means the MX29LV160CB works on 16 bit adapter but does not work on 8/16 bit adapter?
The 16 bit adapter and 8/16 bit adapter use different programming algorithm. I think this is compatibility issues. The chip stops response to the programmer, but the programmer waiting for the response.
