Posted - 12/03/2009 : 23:13:21 I really need something that can test and program 2532's, as I deal with a lot of early 80's arcade boards. Going over the supported devices list, I see that I can test 2532's and 2532A's, but then later it says I can program TMS2532's. Is that correct? Some of my games (like Pac-Man) use an MCM2532, which should be basically the same.
I just need confirmation that this will program these chips. If so, I'll be purchasing immediately.

Posted - 12/04/2009 : 07:54:34 I think read the MCM2532 chip should no problem. The Write operation only tested on limited TMS2532 chips. If they are fully compatible, then it should work. But it is hard to say since they are old EPROMs. If it does not work on this programmr, then you can send a testing chips to MCUmall for fixing OR return your programmer if you want. |
