Hi,

I have a GQ-4X that I brought from MCUMall. I was using it today and it was working just fine, I was reading, erasing and writing chips. I left it for a bit but when I came back and opened the programmer window the program had froze, I did a end task and the window closed. I reconnected the programmer and found a message saying USB device not recognized. I tried updating the driver and pointing it in the direction of the drivers on the CD but it failed and said it could not find the hardware, I have tried reinstalling the software and I have tried it on my other computer were it has worked before. Has my programmer suddenly failed?? I am sending MCUMall a email. Has anyone else had this happen?

If you tried on another computer and got same "Unknown USB device", then you need to send it back.
Just write to support@mcumall.com for RMA.

Try a different USB cable too.

This is messed up. It completely does not see it now. I have tried the version 1 USB drivers and the same error appears
