Posted - 06/16/2010 : 09:43:59 Hello, Greetings, I am from india, i recently purchased GQ-4X programmer from MCU MALL, i have also purchased ADP-058 FWH/LPC+ Complete Adapter Set which includes these adapters
# A PLCC32 socket type FWH/LPC adapter(ADP-030 with TSOP32, TSOP40 sockets).
# ADP-042 TSOP48 16 BIT ZIF Adapter, they have sent me this instead of ADP-062 PLCC32-DIP32 which was mentioned in the set.
# A TSOP32 14mm ZIF adapter (ADP-022).
# A TSOP32 20mm ZIF adapter (ADP-021).
# A TSOP40 ZIF adapter(ADP-035).
i rework on laptop & desktop motherboards, so bios programming is very important for service centre, but i am novice in this subject, i am able to flash PLCC32 type easily, but still not able to flash these bios types,
29LV008CTTC, 29LV800CTTC/CBTC
these bios chips are not on the device list, these bios chips are used on the few HP/Compaq Laptop Motherboards. when i choose the nearest one(which i presume) on the device list it says use A19 jumper. what is it? how to add these bios types in device list & can these bios chips flashed using the adapters i have, advice needed from the esteemed members of this forum on how to use this adapters as they have not provided any manual to work on. Thanks

The ASP-035 does not work in your case.

Posted - 06/17/2010 : 07:23:45 Hi ZLM, Cant i use ADP-035 TSOP40-DIP40 ZIF adapter for 29LV008CTTC TSOP40 chip or use TSOP 16 BIT ADAPTER V2.0 with TSOP -DIP ADAPTER FOR 29LV800CTTC/CBTC TSOP48 chip.
Is this adapter set ok for my solution 'ADP-033A Newest TSOP 20mm Adapter Complete Set' or pls suggest a good adapters set for laptop and desktop servicing centre, suggest a complete set because i dont want to buy just base boards first and the top adapters later. because mcu mall supplies through canada post and indian post service is really bad, most of the times they lose the package and it cant be found.
