Hi guys, I have been trying to program a HN274096G in my GQ-4X and it keeps coming up with an error in the first 1% of programming.

Im using the 16-bit adapter I got here from MCUmall and the newest software for the GQ-4X.

Anyone got any ideas why this might be happening?
Cheers MuteCity.

If you can confirm your chip, adapter and programmer have good pin contact, then check your adapter version, V3.0 or V4.0. Look at the back of the adapter board.

If your adapter is V4.0, then you can try to placed the jumper on V3 and then V4 position, see which one works.

If your adapter is V3.0, then try to remove a 10uF capacitor from adapter, and see if it makes difference.
