i looked at your screen shot, i did had the same problem when i was programming 93C66B, i noticed the new chips that came where mixed with 93C66A...whenever i picked those with the A suffix verify returns an error, but when i use the B suffix chips, verify complete its run.. |

Posted - 09/23/2010 : 21:59:10 i am using the GQ-4X programmer, i have no problem as of now using it with S93C56B and 93C66B, however, i could not use it to read and program P87C51FB-4A with the MC-51 adapter, i think my GQ-4X has a problem too! |

Posted - 09/16/2010 : 08:55:03 The 93C56 is confirmed working chip. There are many resons can let software programming fail. Such as bad chip, poor pin contact, wrong chip position. You can try to use a slower speed to try too.
Your programmer is under warranty. If the programmer does not work and confirmed defective, then you can either return for exchange OR return it for refund. |

Posted - 09/16/2010 : 03:32:21 You seem quick to blame the programmer... you will see most issues around here are as a result of bad chips or user error.
You should make sure all the contacts are clean with a fibreglass pencil. |

Posted - 09/15/2010 : 21:04:44 Whenever I try to erase the chip it always fails blank check also.. is this gq-4x programmer just a piece of junk or what.. can it do anything? I feel like I wasted my money right now.. |
