Heya, I purchased the 4x from you guys a couple months ago with tsop40a/b adapter, and tsop-dip adapter, as well as some st M29f032d chips. I have about 20 of these chips that are now failing. Either wont ID, try to erase and stop erasing halfway in to 89% of the way in, fail burning once it starts, or just wont even start burning and gives this message:

Write failed, Address=0x000000, Buffer=0x08 Device=0xA0

I am using the following line (which worked fine until this morning when none of these started to burn)in the devices:

Name="M29F032D*TSOP40",ID="20AC",Class="29F040B",Category="FLASH",MFG="ST",CodeSize="4194304",DIP="100011110101",Adapter="TSOP40B-DIP32";

I have tried this with 3 different versions of the software including the newest v6, and on 2 different desktop's and 1 laptop, with the new 4X burner as well as an older 3X true usb as well. Thanks

The recommended adapter is ADP-082. Try J5 on both V1.0 and V2.0 position.
Other compatible adapters (not from MCUmall) are not fully tested.

If you can confirm your adapter is good and chips have no contacting problem, then it could be software or chip itself.

If you can send some testing chips, then it can be identified.
