I have 5 of these that the GQ-4X will not write to. It gets to 2% and dies with an error. I've tried the 21vcc and a few of the other device types, but I've not found one that will write to these Eproms. I've ordered new Eproms but I really don't think all 5 of these have flaked out.

Change the speed of software, let it be slower. eg. -1

If you still got error on writting, then most likely you need new chips.
