I buy 3 weeks ago the best universal programmer de GQ-4X, but now i use with two types of i.c This is: SST49LF004B IN PLCC32 (USED CHIP FROM PC BIOS) SST49LF020A IN PLCC32 (USED TO ANOTHER SYSTEM) ANOTHER CHIP: ST W29W040B IN PLCC32 (NEW FACTORY CHIP) Well i have the wall charge in the programmer and usb conection plus the ADP-059. Well the program report the next text when i try to erase,blanc check and id check. Text from usbprog: Ready H/W Re: GQ-4X Re-1.40 USB Driver Re.1.0 Software Re. 5.03B DEVICE Device not found! ZLM	Posted - 12/19/2010 : 23:42:54 Get correct ID is the first step of all. You need to find out why the ID failed. It can be caused by many different reasons; chip pin contact, chip pin 1 orientation, bad chip etc. Please try another other chips see if it works or not.
