hi, fisrt im a noobie :) with atmega's, so what do i need to start working with them, specially ATMEGA8-16PC, ATMEGA8-16PI, ATMEGA8-16PJ or ATMEGA8-16PU and my GQ-4X it says in the list AVRISP connectio, whats this? do i need a dev. board <--> avrisp <--> GQ-4X?

You do not need any extra adapter for the AVRISP connection. You can directly connec the programmer to your target chip via AVRISP connection.
