Posted - 12/23/2010 : 07:03:22 I had to program a bios chip:
Winbond W39080FAP (1Mb) flash, took just seconds to clear the contents and over 25 minutes to program it fully.... using the lpc circuit of a motherboard this will take no more than 30 sec/1 minute.... what i'm doing wrong?
my pc is a QuadCore 9300 intel with 4gigs of ram and a P5WDH Deluxe (all intel hardware) in it with windows 7 ultimate 64 bits.
program installed correctly (in x86 mode) and the driver is the 2.0.1, latest version.

Posted - 01/02/2011 : 15:16:07 It seems your programmer is fine. The software needs to be optimized.

Posted - 12/24/2010 : 08:55:28 Your time seems longer than normal. It may be related to chip comaptibility. Try another chip, with different version or date, that may make different.
But the programmer and the software should be good since it can program the chip correctly. |
