I am still getting Config Verify Failed when I try to program PIC16F877A.(I am using v6, and yes I'm erasing the chip first)

I have used ISIS to simulate my hex and it's working perfectly, I am really in need for this (I have sent the hex file already like one week ago, and I'm still waiting for a feedback.

I got one 16F877A tested with my GQ-4X. Yes. I was able to reproduce your problem.

I also tested the chip with Microchip ICD2 with MPLAB software. However, when I write the 0x2F4A into the chip on ICD2, I only got 0x3F7A been writen.

That means the 0x2F4A may not be a only one CFG value for 18F877A for your CFG settings.

The GQ-4X software write exact same value into the chip with the Microchip software MPLAB.

When I testing, the GQ-4X responsed a error meesage on CFG verification. But MPLAB passed the verification regardless the CFG is 0x3F7A on chip.

That meas the CFG value 0x3F7A and value 0x2F4A has same functionality for the configuration.

The conclusion: GQ-4X write CFG is working fine but need to fix the CFG error message issue.

Just wanted to add an updated, the config work is always set as 0x3F7A !!
Other chips (So far PIC18F4550) are working fine, but when it comes to PIC16F877A I keep having this issue. Required config word is: 0x2F4A
Plz help.
