Posted - 04/04/2011 : 09:21:12 Hello,
Could you please help me with the following? I need to reflash 29LV008CTTC with my GQ-4X. I also use TSOP-DIP Adapter (I am attaching the eprom in the upper part of this adapter), and the ADP-082, using the TSOP40A part. The only jumper I added in the adapter is J3 for the 5v as I read in another post.
When I try to read the device ID, i get a Device Unknown error. And I am unable to proceed. Do I need to set another jumper in the adapter? Could yuou please provide assistance? Thank you. Regards, Luciano. |

Posted - 04/06/2011 : 05:31:43 When I try to get ID, I get Device 1C1C, and manufacturer Mitsubishi. I am guessing this is not right. I am putting the ADP-082 in the upper part of the programmer connector, next to the lever. The chip inside the TSOP-DIP adapter is also aligned in the upper part, leaving 8 pins unused at the bottom. Is this OK? Thank you. Regards, Luciano. |

Posted - 04/05/2011 : 07:41:57 If your programmer is GQ-4X and the adapter is from MCUmall ADP-082, then you do not need connect A19. The A19 only for 32 pin ZIF programmer.
Set to V1.0 should be fine. If does not work then try V2.0.
The V1.0 uses on board chip signal buffer and V2.0 does not.

Posted - 04/05/2011 : 06:55:45 Thanks ZLM. What about pin A19, should that be connected somewhere? Regarding the chip location in the TSOP-DIP adapter, which is the correct way to align this? Also, inthe ADP-082 adapter, do i need to set a jumper in the V1.0-V2.0 pins? Thank you. |
