Posted - 10/30/2011 : 20:47:23 I am trying to program several 2764A chips (exact model number LD2764A-20) with a GQ-4X programmer and am getting an error trying to write the buffer. I am running on version 6.13 of the software. I purchased an additional power supply and set it to 9V, but still no success.
Any tips on what I need to do to get this to work? |

Just a thought. |

Posted - 10/31/2011 : 14:10:30 I am able to read the data correctly. I actually read a 2764A chip with data on it successfully. Blank check passed OK. Although I can't remember the exact verbage of the error, it was something like this:
Error during write: Buffer location 0000: Data: 02; Write location: 0000: Data: FF
In short, it failed to write the first byte.
I have added an auxiliary power 9V supply, center pole positive, to the programmer, but the results were the same.
There are three 2764 chips to choose from when configuring the software. 1) Standard 2764 2) 2764A (12.5 volts) and 3) 2764A (20 volts).
None of these selections worked. |
