Posted - 03/08/2013 : 06:50:48 I have the same issue with the AM29F032B (but not the M29F032B)
It required a Z5U 100nf cap between VCC and GND, then it works.
Reading seems to be fine without the cap. A normal 100nf ceramic cap didnt work (I sent the chips to the people who made my programmer, they found the issue). |

Posted - 03/06/2013 : 20:18:47 I ordered some AM29F032B. They should arrive next week. I will do a complete test then. Tested with ST M29F032B TSOP40. But no problem found. |

Posted - 03/02/2013 : 01:19:35 Ok I noticed something on these chips, I clicked the L button (lock/unlock) and had it read. It appears the first 4 sections are locked, the other 4 are not. I checked another type of chip not in that batch, and all are unlocked. So I tried unlocking the chips that are not working, and they will not unlock. Any ideas? |

Posted - 03/01/2013 : 13:25:43 The chips I am using are from the same batch/person. All exact model numbers purchased together. Burned 3 and worked fine, soldered them to what I needed to, and works great. Went to bed, woke up, now none of them will burn. Also purchased a new burner/scriptdapters that arrived today, and still does this. |

Posted - 02/26/2013 : 09:52:14 looks like chip related. Change to another chip. To approve, use last worked chip and try again. |
