Posted - 07/01/2013 : 15:25:12 bought GQ-4X to read and erase SPI flash sst25vf064c,because I found it support "25 series". But after installed everything, I could not find it in the device list. GQ-4x does not support it? if so, I have to return it. |

Posted - 05/07/2015 : 07:08:48 Yes, ID is ok. I have no problems with other chips. Chip which I'm trying to write is brand new, and I have two of them. So it should be the software.
line in devices.txt is: Name="SST25VF064C",ID="BF254B",Class="SST25VF040B",CodeSize="8388608",VCC="3.6V",Category="SERIAL_EPROM",Adapter="SOIC8-DIP or ADP-081 adapter",MFG="SST",Platform="GQ-4X"
software version is 6.34. should i try to install older version?

Posted - 05/07/2015 : 06:43:15 Does programmer detect the chip ID correctly? If the ID is not correct, then do you have any other SPI chips for testing? Just want to make sure the programmer is working.
If the programmer is working, then we only need to concentrate on the software. |
