Posted - 10/11/2013 : 11:06:42 It seems the browser does not allow us to download .dev file.
I cheanged the .dev to .txt file, try to download the .txt file and change it back to .dev file after you downloaded it.

right click on the link and select "Save target as" option. |

Thanks for the posted info, but the link you gave is 404. Can you double-check the URL?

Posted - 10/09/2013 : 15:35:53 I think this chip should be supported.
Download this PIC16F1455.dev file into GQ programmer software "device" directory. Example, my directory is "C:\Program Files (x86)\GQ USB Programmer\Devices".
Download Attachment: PIC16F1455.dev 33.5 KB
Added following line into devices.txt file:
Name="PIC16F1455",ID="2927A0",Class="PIC16FXXX",Category="MCU",VPP="9V",WVPP="9V",MFG="Microchip",CFGAddress(Hex)="8007",CodeSize="16384",Package="DIP14",BEGPRG_COMMAND="8",ENDPRG_COMMAND="0A",BEGERASECHIP_COMMAND="9",ERASECHIP_COMMAND="",EEPROMHexFileAddress(Hex)="1E000",CFGHexFileAddress(Hex)="1000E",UserIDHexFileAddress(Hex)="10000",Adapter="ICSP/PIC adapter+, no adapter required on GQ-4X";
This device line is not been tested and confirmed. Let me know if it works.
Then you should be able to see it from the supported list. |
