Bought a new laptop with windows 8.1, I had previously installed the GQ-4x on my windows XP w/o issues.
Im following the installation instructions from the sticky, Im able to do the f7 and restart the PC, I then donwlow the latest software, it downloads it just fine but it does not recognize the programmer.
What am I doing wrong, ay help is appreciate it.

Im not a computer guy and on top of that this is my first Windows in 10 years (apple until now). I have follow then steps provided and still cant make it work. I can see the driver is not loaded. When I donwload the driver and follow the instructions to update it it wont find it, even tho the file is on my desktop it wont let me select it as if the extension is not valid. It donwloads it as a zip file, when I click on it it opens it up and shows 4 file and thats it. How can I update the driver, what am I doing wrong? |

The USB driver need to be installed.
