Posted - 03/25/2015 : 04:36:16 Hey folks. i'm having troubles with 29f016B and gq-4x. im using tsop adapter according to mmmonkey: h**p://www.mmmonkey.co.uk/29f032-soldering-dip36-to-tsop40-adapter-board/ i'm using tsop to willem adapter as well. h**p://www.mmmonkey.co.uk/programming-29f032-eeprom-on-gq-4x/ i've solder 5 chips to adapters and all of them are behaving same. on first try they can give you proper id, on next second they won't. they won't erase or do the blank check. any suggestions? is it possible that all of them are broken, or is this programmer bug? I've tested these on parallel willem too & it gives me same behavior. i've programmed one 29f033d with parallel willem, so i expected these adapters work with 29f016B. Thanks.

Posted - 03/25/2015 : 23:07:28 Is there a difference between 29f032b & 29f033c? 29f033c worked all the time, while 29f016b & 29f032b wouldn't.

Posted - 03/25/2015 : 22:57:45 Slowdown doesn't help. i made one 29f032b & that chip behaves just like 29f016's. i tried with 2 different tsop to willem boards. i'm starting to think, that adapter pcb has somekind design fault. any suggestions, what pins make this kind of behavior?

This adapter is not been officially tested on GQ-4X. It may work.
Try to slowdown the speed from software and see if anything can be different.
