Posted - 06/20/2015 : 01:58:22 Hey everyone, Wondering if you can help. I have 4mb files I am writing to 29L3221 SOP chips. I am finding that I get verify errors on some of my roms but not all. When I read back the file and compare I am finding that the last bit is changing from value 00 from the original file to FF which is causing the verify failure. The files still work but I would like to know why it is happening. I am not very good with this stuff so please be kind. Is there are option in the software to correct this during the write? Error I am getting is Verify Failed, Address=0x3FFFFF, Device=0xF8, Buffer=0x00 |

Posted - 06/21/2015 : 17:50:08 It maybe related to chip compatibility. The 2.2K resistor on the adapter may need to be changed.

If you have a 1K resistor, you can try to change the 2.2K resistor to 1K. |
