The W27C256 has two type of packages, DIP28 and PLCC32.
The software only listed the device's type, not the package. The default package always use DIP28 pacakge. So no adapter needed on DIP package.

I think the software should add all packages on each devices, so that provide the adapter info once the device been selected.

This will be improved in the future software release.

Thanks very much ZLM. Why doesn't the software tell me to use that adapter?.

You need PLCC32-DIP28 adapter.
All voltages are controlled by software automatically.
