I have a need to use my GQ-4X4 to read-out and program EEPROM part number AT28HC64B-70JU which is permanently attached to an external PCB (but is not further attached to any other circuitry.) I have installed version 7.40 software and USB driver and the PC, GQ-4X4 and version 1.70 software are communicating normally. When I select the AT28HC64B-70JU the software advises that adapter ADP006 or ADP029 are required. The problem is that I cannot use an adapter as the device is not socketed on the test PCB, so I need to cross-connect the required subset of the 40 pin ZIF socket on the GQ-4X4 to the correct pins on the device on the test PCB. These connections would be exclusive (there is no other circuitry, just the AT28HC64B-70JU on a PC board with 32 holes expecting wires to the programmer's socket pins as reuqired.

How do I determine the required connections from the programmer so that I can manually jumper the (up to 32) pin connections from the GQ-4X4 to the AT28HC64B-70JU in lieu of the adapter/socket assembly the software indicates is needed? Are the pin connection used by the GQ-4X4 and version 1.40 for this device documented?

Thank you for any assistance.

Dave

(software version typo (1.70 and 1.40 are typos) - using version 7.40 and windows 10 64-bit driver, freshly downloaded and installed.)
